Brass Quintet (2023)
​
Written throughout the back half of 2023, this brass quintet explores intricate harmonies and melodic ideas stemming from a prologue that evolves over the course of the 10-minute work. The work includes many of the trademarks of my writing, with winding melodic lines, interwoven crunchy harmonies, and high-energy brass writing.

This work was written for one of my best friend's recitals and had its world premiere in March of 2024 at East Carolina University.
Reverie (2024)
An extracted movement from my larger orchestral work "Visions of My Alma Mater". For horn and string orchestra, "Reverie" is a short work for string orchestra and solo horn meant to capture the serenity of the instrument and paint a daydream into the listener's mind.
HANDS DOWN (2023)
Written for my dear friend Eric Friedlander's senior recital, this work for tuba, bari-sax, and drumset is a high-energy, high-intensity work that is full of tricky, catchy licks sure to entertain both the performers and audience.
Final Wandering (2021)
Completed in May of 2021, "Final Wandering" was written to detail the 40 days a soul bears its final days on Earth before passing on to the afterlife. It is believed that during this time the soul will travel to different important places from its lifetime. The movements are named according to each step in its journey: The soul's delivery into limbo, the space between life and the afterlife, the spirit visiting its home and final resting place, and finally passing on into forever. This is all encapsulated by a general feeling of floating, serenity, and wonder that dives emotionally into the pure joys of life, to the deepest feelings of emptiness.

Written towards the end of 2024, this a challenging saxophone quartet work that experiments with multiphonics and dynamic counterpoint throughout a work that explores complex emotion.
Piano Trio in One Movement
(2024)
A 7-minute work for violin, cello, and piano in 3 parts. Written in admiration of the beautiful Ohio river valley.
